The Lentos Art Museum is a museum of modern art in Linz, Austria. It opened in May 2003 as the successor of the Neue Galerie der Stadt Linz. The Residenzgalerie is an art gallery in the Alte Residenz, Salzburg, Austria. Its collection includes works by Rembrandt, Carel Fabritius, Carlo Saraceni and Hieronymus Francken II. European painting from the 16th to 19th centuries is part of the collection of paintings in the State of Salzburg. The outstanding highlight is the Dutch painting of the 17th century, acquired from the old Austrian aristocratic collection Czernin.
