The primarily agricultural province of Prachin Buri is located along the Cambodian border in eastern Thailand. Prachin Buri province is famous for its largest protected area of land in Thailand that contains Khao Yai, Thap Lan, and Pang Sida National Parks, which together cover over 3,000 square kilometers.
This national park sprawls over an area of 2,240 square kilometers of jungle, waterfalls, dams and reservoirs. It straddles three provinces, and was established in 1981.
