Kennedy Peak

Mt. Kennedy is famous for mountaineering. So, most visitors come hereto climb. It is a 2703-meter high mountain which was famous for its flora and fauna and has a lot of wildlife sources also. It is the second-highest mountain in Chin State after Mount Victoria. It is also historically famous for being the site of a battle during World War II between the British Indian Army and the Japanese.

Mandalay Hill

Mandalay Hill which towers above the city and the flat plain below. Virtually all visitors and pilgrims to Mandalay either climb the 1,729 steps of the covered southern stairway with its magnificent guardian chinthe at the entry, use stairways on the other sides or use easier means and take the escalator, cars or buses to the top. From its top, and from several way-stations along the ascent, one has a magnificent panorama of the city, the old Royal Palace and Fortress, as well as the Ayeyarwady

Mount Popa

Mount Popa is an extinct volcano 1518 meters above sea level and located in central Myanmar in the region of Mandalay about 50 km southeast of Bagan in the Pegu Range. It can be seen from the Ayeyarwady River as far away as 60 km in clear weather. Mount Popa is perhaps best known as a pilgrimage site, with numerous Nat temples and relic sites atop the mountain.

Mount Zwegabin

Mt Zwegabin, about 7 miles south of town, which as well as being a respectable 2372ft, is also home to spirits and saintly souls. The two-hour hike to the summit is demanding – up to many steps and with aggressive monkeys as constant adversaries – but once at the top, the rewards are plentiful. It is one of the beautiful locations in Myanmar and a lot of tourists visit this place every year.
