Bridges to Explore in Thua Thien Hue
Thanh Toan Bridge is about 8 km away from Hue, located at Thuy Thanh commune, Huong Thuy District, Thua Thien Hue province. This bridge was built by Mrs. Tran Thi Dao in 1776, who is a member of the 6th generation of Tran’s family. Thanh Toan Bridge was made of wood and the structure is “a bridge under a house” that made Thanh Toan Bridge different from other ancient bridges.
Trang Tien Bridge is undoubtedly the most well-known bridge in the city of Hue, Vietnam. This connects the Phu Hoa district and the Phu Hoi district across the famous Huong River, which sometimes can also be called the “Perfume” river in English.
