Lập An lagoon (also known as An Cư Lagoon) is an 800-hectare brackish water lagoon in Hue and a part of Lăng Cô Bay. It is more beautiful and shiny in evening times, especially at sunset.
The Tu Duc Tomb is the final resting place of Emperor Tu Duc who reigned from 1848 until his death in 1883. The tomb site and its buildings are relatively well-preserved despite the ravages of war and time.
Tam Giang Lagoon is the largest lagoon in Southeast Asia with a total surface area of 22,000 hectares. All big rivers in the area such as Perfume River, O Lau River, and Bo River pour into Tam Giang Lagoon before going to the East Sea.
