2 Parks to Explore in Horry County

Myrtle Beach State Park is located on the south end of Myrtle Beach, tucked away in a preserved maritime forest. The Myrtle Beach State Park Nature Center features interactive natural history displays, saltwater aquariums and live reptiles. Park naturalists offer nature education programs about the coastal habitat and wildlife. The state park also features a fishing pier.

Located at Broadway at the Beach, WonderWorks, a science focused indoor amusement park, combines education and entertainment. With over 100 hands-on exhibits, there is something unique and challenging for all ages.
