Bachman Lake

A small freshwater lake located in the Bachman Lake community of northwest Dallas. It is one of the main water resource of the city. Today, Bachman Lake is used as a recreational area that includes the Bachman Recreation Center several picnic areas, and a playground, walkways,fitness stations, benches, water fountains and more.

Cedar Hill State Park

A great place to escape from the hustle-bustle life of the metroplex, which was covered with lush greenery and a cool place for fishing and boating. It is also hie for so many varieties of migratory birds.

Klyde Warren Park

A public park in Downtown Dallas which creates an urban green space constructed over a section of the below-grade Woodall Rodgers Freeway. It includes a children's park, reading room, great lawn, restaurant, performance pavilion, fountain plaza, games area, urban dog park, and botanical garden.

Pioneer Plaza

A large public park which contains a large sculpture which features the Confederate War Memorial. It is one of the most visited tourist sites and it is the largest public open space in the Dallas central business district.
