The house provides insights into life during the administration of British North Borneo and is furnished with a reproduction of colonial furniture and antiques. A gallery on the first floor tells the story of Agnes, her books and her family.

The village operates as a museum that preserves Borneo's ethnic culture. It aims to share the knowledge, history, culture, and tradition of Borneo. The village features 5 different ethnic tribes - the rice farmer Kadazan-Dusun, the longhouse resident Rungus, the hunters and fisherman Lundayeh, the cowboy and sea gypsey Bajau, and the famously feared headhunting tribe Murut.
