Bishop Museum

The Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum, designated the Hawaiʻi State Museum of Natural and Cultural History, is a museum of history and science in the historic Kalihi district of Honolulu on the Hawaiian island of O'ahu. Founded in 1889, it is the largest museum in Hawai'i and has the world's largest collection of Polynesian cultural artifacts and natural history specimens.

Hawaii Army Museum Society

A huge museum that was located inside former coastal artillery "Battery Randolph". The museum's collection contains some World War II armor pieces, an AH-1 Cobra helicopter, and small arms indoors, as well as the battery itself. The battery's main guns were scrapped prior to the inception of the museum. The museum also includes a "Gallery of Heroes" honoring recipients of the Medal of Honor and the Distinguished Service Cross.

This was an old vacation home of the Hawaiian royalty which was built out of lava rock. It was now converted into a museum by the Daughters of Hawaii Showcasing the old furniture, ornaments, and artifacts.

This was first established as a library and then converted into the Kauai Museum. It has exhibits on the history of the island of Kauaʻi in Hawaii. There are so many things and artifacts that paves light to the history of the Kauai Museum.

Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum

This is a nonprofit aviation museum that was opened in Hawaii state in 1999. It hosts a variety of aviation exhibits with a majority relating directly to the attack on Pearl Harbor and World War II. A lot of things related to the historical events are here which gives light to the history of the United States.

The Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design is housed in the former home of Doris Duke near Diamond Head just outside Honolulu. It is now owned and operated as a public museum of the arts and cultures of the Islamic world by the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art
