The Great Mosque, also known for the locals as “Al-Masjid Al-Kabir” is the largest mosque in Kuwait, near the Persian Gulf. The mosque is built on Andalusian style and accommodates over 10,000 people, it also has a large library divided into two sections, the first section is for religious people, and the second is for the non-Arabic Muslims and the non-Muslims.
