Gauhar Mahal is one of the beautiful palaces in Bhopal. An architectural marvel, this palace was built by the first woman ruler of Bhopal, Gohar Begum in 1820 situated on the banks of the Upper Lake. But now a days due to lack of careing the palace is undergoing a path of renovation.

This famous historic landmark was built by Sikander Jehan Begum of Bhopal in the year 1860. It has a striking resemblance to the architecture of the Jama Masjid in Delhi. The Palace has been designated as a Monument of National Importance by the Archaeological Survey of India .

Taj Ul Masjid is the largest mosque in India and one of the largest mosques in Asia. The construction started in the reign of the Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar.
