Arabari Range Forest

Arabari Forest Range is the name of a forest range in the West Midnapore district. Conservation efforts were begun in 1972 by an Indian Forest Service. Now the forest is dense green and one can have a safari by the permission of the forest department. There are a lot of wildlife population inside the forest and they are conserved very carefully by the forest department

Chilkigarh, kanakdurga mandir

Kanakdurga temple of Chilkigarh is the main attraction of the district. The temple is covered in the west by a dense forest that is covered with medicinal plant of 433 types and has a beautiful river that flows between the raj palace of Chilkigarh and Kanakdurga temple.

Gangani Canyon

Gangani is a natural canyon situated near the town of Garhbeta, in the Paschim Medinipur district also known as the The Grand Canyon of West Bengal is almost 70 feet deep and is formed due to natural erosion of the Shilabati River. Due to its scenic beauty, the place has become a popular tourist spot.

Hijli Eco Park

It’s a small natural park very close to IIT Kharagpur campus. There is a small deer park inside and a nursery also. The park has enchanting pathways with tall trees providing a canopy from both sides.
