Gorumara National Park

A thick forest that sits prettily at the foothills of Great Himalayan mountains having a large variety of flora and fauna. It is especially famous for its Asiatic one-horned rhino and there are so many other animals too. It has been declared as the best among the protected areas in India by the Ministry of Environment and Forests.

Jalpaiguri Tea Garden

Jalpaiguri has been called as the land of tea, timber, and tourism. Its landscapes are covered with thousands of tea gardens which are the backbone of the district's economy. Tea tourism has been initiated here to take tourists through the knowledge of tea production, processing, and manufacture.

Jalpesh Mandir

This 350-year-old temple of Lord Shiva was founded by Sri Bisu Singh. The first entrance to the temple has a figure of Lord Shiva on a platform balanced by the trunks of elephants. The interiors of the temple are extremely beautiful and attractive to look at.

Karala River

The small River Karala, popularly known as ‘the Thames of Jalpaiguri’ flows through the middle of the town. A nature walk along the riverbank of Karala is truly refreshing. There is boat riding and a well-maintained park adjacent to the river.

This is a virgin tourist spot dotted with towering trees and a vast carpet of the green grass and the river Diana flows through the side of this place. And also this place gives a splendid view of Bhutan. It serves as a perfect weekend getaway for many visitors.
