Chhatris

Set in a formal Mughal garden and constructed by under the rule of the Scindias, the Chhatri is one of the famous monuments that shows a fine blend of both Mughal as well as Hindu culture. There is a mugal garden in the backyard which has the royal tombs of the Scindias. Life size portraits of the Scindhias are there within the Chhatris and these are religiously worshipped with flowers and incense.

Shaurya Smarak Bhopal

Shaurya Smarak is a war memorial situated at Bhopal sprawled over the large place of approximately 12 acres. It is developed as a public park with innovative and exciting architectural installations depicting the sacrifice of the infantrymen. There is a 62-ft excessive sculpture rising from the floor referred to as Shaurya Stambh depicting the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

Tomb of Mohammad Ghaus

This is the tomb of the Muslim saint Muhammad Ghaus, who assisted Babur when he conquered the fort of Gwalior in 1526. The building is square in plan and topped by a squat dome decorated with blue ceramic tiles. This is truly an architectural wonder of ancient time.

This is the tomb of Tanzen, One of the greatest musicians of India and en eminent vocalist in the courts of Akbar in the medieval period . Tansen Samaroh is the most significant music festival of Gwalior State. Well-known musicians participate in the Samaroh to offer musical tribute to Tansen near this place.
