Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary

The Achanakmar-Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve is a biosphere reserve in India that extends across the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, covering a total area of 383,551 hectares. The forest area of the reserve has tropical deciduous vegetation and The faunal composition of the Achanakmar-Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve is quite rich. More diverse and flourishing populations of wildlife can be found here.

Bahuti Waterfall (kadha)

This is the highest waterfall in Madhya Pradesh which was on the river Sellar as it rushes down the edge of the Valley of Mauganj to join the Bihad River, which is a tributary of Tamsa or Tons River. It is an example of a nick point caused by rejuvenation. It has a height of 198 meters.

Baija Taal

Baija Taal Cultural Complex is Gwalior city’s latest attraction. It was built by Baija Baj, belonging to the Scindia family. Originally here stood an oval-shaped tank with bridges leading to the surrounding stone steps. The tank was meant for ceremonial and festive use. Now it is modified and rebuilt as a cultural complex containing an art gallery and open-air theatre.

Balancing Rock

Balancing rock is an independent rock precariously balancing over another rock situated at the base of Madan Mahal Fort, 6 km from Jabalpur, The upper rock balances on the base of the lower rock. The physics of these rocks has also attracted a lot of geologists who keep visiting this place. One can walk further up to the Madan Mahal Fort and take a look around or climb up the watchtower in the fort complex to get extensive views of the other rocky formations found around.

Bandakpur

Bandakpur is a small town in the district of Damoh in Madhya Pradesh, India. The town is known for a temple of Lord Shiva -the Jageshwar Nath temple. There is a main temple where Shiva-Linga is situated in main sanctum. Devi Parvati faces Shiva on an adjacent temple.

Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park is spread at vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh has a core area of 105 sq km. It was the former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa and at present is a famous natural hub for White Tigers. The area of Bandhavgarh is being flourished with a large biodiversity, Over the years, the park has shown a great number of increases in the count of the tiger species and this is the reason why tiger tours is so famed to attract a large number of tourists at its vicinity.

Bawangaja

Bawangaja is a famous Jain pilgrim center in Barwani. its main attraction is the world's second-largest megalithic statue of lord Rishabh which is 84 feet. This temple is located on the side of a hill and the beauty of this place is undescribable.

Caves Of Mada Aashin

This cave complex consists of two caves of which one is a temple cave and the other is an underground cave which is in the form of a pool. The temple consists of Lord Shiva statue and the statue of a goddess. The most interesting aspect is that the pool cave has an unidentified source of water and was probably used as a bathing pool in ancient times.

Chachai waterfall

Chachai falls are more than 130 meters in height and are situated on River Bihad. These falls are the second highest waterfalls in Madhya Pradesh and is counted amongst one of the highest single-drop waterfalls in India.

Chhatris

Set in a formal Mughal garden and constructed by under the rule of the Scindias, the Chhatri is one of the famous monuments that shows a fine blend of both Mughal as well as Hindu culture. There is a mugal garden in the backyard which has the royal tombs of the Scindias. Life size portraits of the Scindhias are there within the Chhatris and these are religiously worshipped with flowers and incense.

Choral Dam

This is a huge dam located in the heart of Indore constructed around the backwaters of River Narmada. A large number of lush green trees and small hills surround the place making it even more attractive. There is boating and so many other activites around the dam.

Dhuandhar Water Fall

This beautiful falls which were 30 meter high cascading from the Narmada river which is surrounded by greenery. The water is crystal clear and there is boating and so many other activities are there. A good place to enjoy with friends and family.

Dutchess Fall

One of the most beautiful waterfalls Pachmarhi. It falls from above 100 meters and it creates a roaring sound. there are many ways to reach this waterfall. Trekking lovers can explore this adventurous place.

Ghatigaon Wildlife Sanctuary

This is a wildlife sanctuary established in Gwalior in 1981. the sanctuary has a significant population of the Indian Bustard. The sanctuary also houses a lot of other animals also. There are also so many interesting things in and around the sanctuary.

Gwalior Zoo

Spread over an area of 8 hectares, Gwalior Zoo is home to some rare species of animals including a white tiger. The main animals which are present in the zoo are deer, monkeys, Royal Bengal Tiger, serpents, crocodile, spotted deer, sambhar, hyena, lion, rabbits, panther, bear, hippopotamus, etc. The zoo also has some rare and colorful birds, snakes, lizards, etc. Families and Wildlife enthusiasts can visit the zoo and spend their quality time amidst the animals.

Handi Khoh

One of the most beautiful canyon in Central India, which has a 300 feet high precipice in the middle of a dense forest. It was popularly believed to have been a lake earlier. This place has a mythological history and is believed to be closely associated with Lord Shiva.

Indore zoo (Kamla Nehru prani Sangrahalay)

This zoo is also known as Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya which Occupies an area of more than 51 acres, which is home to a wide variety of mammals, birds, and reptiles. There is a total number of 57 animal species and around 628 specimens in a lush Green environment, right in the centre of the city. A lot of tourists visit this place every day.

ISKCON Temple, Ujjain

This is a Majestic temple which was built in white marble built by ISKCON. The impeccably sculpted marble idols of Radha Madhana Mohan, Sri Krishna and Balram and Sri Gauri Nitai dressed in vibrantly colored dresses and beautiful jewelry will definitely lift your spirits. This temple was opened in 2006 and a lot of peoples visits this temple till now.

Janapav Kuti

Jatashankar Temple

Jatashankar Temple is a natural cave and Hindu shrine located north of Pachmarhi. It is located in a deep ravine with enormous boulders perched above. The cave serves as a shrine to the God Shiva and is a popular destination for pilgrims and It contains stalagmites that are revered as naturally formed lingams.
