Chootad Beach

Lined with casuarina trees proving shades to the walkways underneath, Chootad Beach is an amazing place for children and family. The park at the beach consists of many small restuarants and attractions for children- swings, slingshots, inflated castles to name a few.

Colva Beach

Covered in powdery white sand and lined with coconut palms, this is a very popular and busy beach of Goa.

Corbyns Cove Beach

The beach is renowned for its glass-bottomed cruises, scuba diving and snorkeling, which is a perfect treat for adventure enthusiasts. During the Japanese occupation of Corbyn's Cove, pillboxes and bunkers were made which can be still seen on the beach. A major part of the beach was washed away and destroyed in the tsunami of 2004.

Dandi Beach

Dandi Beach is one of the prominent beaches located in Dandi village, Gujarat and also one of the cleanest beaches in India. Dandi Beach is historically prominent as Mahatma Gandhi led the salt satyagraha from Sabarmati Ashram (Ahmedabad) to Dandi. This is the beach where Mahatma Gandhi broke the salt tax law of the British after the Salt March. There are monuments placed in the seashore as a remembrance of the Dandi march.

Devka Beach

Devka Beach has an amusement park and musical fountains along its long shoreline. This beach is located around 5 km away from the main taxi stand at Nani Daman. Hamsaladeevi Beach

One can see the beauty of the River Krishna which merges in to SEA (Sagara Sangamam) at Palakayi Tippa. This place can be reached by road and the actual 'Sagara Sangamam' (confluence with the ocean) is a few kilometers away and can also be reached by road. The road ends at a beach (3 km from Palakayi Tippa) and one needs to travel further along the beach (not very safe late in the evening during the high tide) for about 2 km before reaching the confluence point.

Harihareshwar Beach

One of the less famous beaches in Maharashtra, the Harihareshwar beach is located in the Raigad district. Surrounded by four hills named Harihareshwar, Harshinachal, Bramhadri and Pushpadri, Harihareshwar is often referred to as Dev-Ghar or "house of God". It is usually called as Southern Kashi because of its temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
