Kangla Fort
This is an old palace at Imphal in Manipur (Kangleipak). It was situated on both sides (western and eastern) of the bank of the Imphal River. But now it remains only on the western side of the bank. Only the ruins remain now. Kangla means "dry land" in old Meetei. It was the traditional seat of the past Meetei rulers of Manipur.

Manipur State Museum
The Manipur State Museum in Imphal was inaugurated on 23rd September 1969. The museum comprises galleries of archaeological, ethnology and natural history. Visiting the museum, one could see the main feature of the museum which is like a 54-feet long royal boat called Hiyang Hiren, which you would find showcased in the open gallery. Not just this, but tourists from across the globe visiting the Manipur State Museum come across the historical dossiers, war weapons etc.
