Simdega district is one of the twenty-four districts of Jharkhand state, India, and Simdega town is the administrative headquarters of this district. Ram Rekha Dham is a holy place located 28 km from Simdega in Ranchi. As per legends Lord Ram, Sitadevi and Lord Laxman stayed here for some days during their fourteen years' exile.
