About Capo Rosso
Capo Rosso is the second westernmost point of Corsica, only passed by the satellite island of Gargalo in the Scandola nature reserve. It is a cape of pink granite accessible only on foot and topped with a Genoese tower. It is one of the nice trekking areas and also the view from here is truly mesmerizing.

Scandola Nature Reserve is a marine and terrestrial Nature Reserve, with strictly regulated access. It’s part of the regional natural park of Corsica and also a UNESCO world heritage site too. The jagged and sheer cliffs contain many grottos and are flanked by numerous stacks and almost inaccessible islets and coves. One of the beautiful location which was blessed with natural beauty.
The gorges of Spelunca are located in Corse-du-Sud between the villages of Ota and Évisa. They constitute both the limit and the only access between the old pits of Sevidentro and Sevinfuori. The gorges offer breathtaking landscapes, dominated by a huge rock on top of which existed in the locality U Castellu. There is also a beautiful hiking trail form where you can explore the vast flora and fauna of this area.
The Fango Valley was designated a biosphere reserve by UNESCO on1 st March 1977. Its heart is the Piriu Forest, made up of maritime and black pines as well as remarkable centuries-old holm oaks which are said to be among the oldest in the world. The Piriu yeuseraie has not been exploited since 1850. One of the nice trekking destination and also there is a beautiful river flowing through this area.
The Vergio pass (in Corsican Bocca Verghju ) is a collar of Corsica between Corte and Vico . It thus connects Albertacce in Niolo ( En-Deçà-des-Monts ) to Évisa in Deux-Sevi ( Au-Delà-des-Monts ). It is the highest road pass on the island. It is, with the passes of Vizzavona , Verde and Bavella , one of the four “great passes” of Corsica, making it possible to connect the two sides of the island from the interior.
Mount Paglia Orba is one of the most famous mountains in Corsica. it is an isolated massif, and dominates the west coast of the island; it is nicknamed the " Corsican Matterhorn " or even the "Queen of Corsican mountains". It is also one of the nice trekking destinations in this area too.
