The Orleans Canal is a former waterway located in the French department of Loiret . With a length of 78.65 km , this canal connects the Loire to the Loing canal and to the Briare canal . It thus ensures continuity by waterway between Orleans and Paris to the north and Briare and the canals of the Center to the south.
