About Zihlkanal

The Zihl Canal , or Canal de la Thielle in French , is an approximately 8.5 km long water connection (piercing) between Lake Neuchâtel and Lake Biel . The original bed of the Zihl is still partially preserved. The Zihl Canal was built together with the Broye Canal , which connects the Neuchâtel and Murten lakes .
