Wildspitz, 6314 Unterägeri, Switzerland
One of the highest mountain in the canton of Zug, located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Zug and Schwyz. The Wildspitz is surrounded by three lakes: Lake Zug, Lake Lauerz, and Lake Ägeri. It is one of the picturesque locations in this area and a nice picnic spot.

The Nature Reserve and Wildlife Park Goldau is located in Central Switzerland in the middle of a wild, romantic landslide area. More than 100 species of wild European animals live in an area of 42 hectares. Many of them are endangered. The spacious animal enclosures are situated in between giant rocks and give the park its distinctive charm. Mt Rigi watches over the eastern shore of Lake Lucerne and was one of the first mountains in the world to have a cog railway. First opened in 1871, the Mt Rigi rack train was originally pulled by steam engines. It was changed to electric, later on, but still today the route operates with nostalgic steam on special runs. There are actually two railways to the summit of Mt Rigi. The original Mt Rigi cog train from the shore of Lake Lucerne at Vitznau where the lake cruise boats stop.
Morgarten is a village in the municipality of Oberägeri in the Swiss canton of Zug. The place is on the banks of the Ägeri lake and on the road from Oberägeri to Sattel. Originally the place was called Hauptsee. In 1905 it was renamed in connection with the commemoration of the Battle of Morgarten on November 15, 1315, and the erection of a battle memorial. The name was changed at the request of the Oberägeri-Morgarten Tourist Association by the Zurich District Post Office.
Lake Aegeri is situated in the foothills of the Alps surrounded by steep slopes. It is nestled in a hilly moraine landscape and offers a wide range of hiking, mountain biking, and water sports activities. It is also one of the nice picnic spots in this area.
Schwanau is an island in Lake Lauerz, located in the canton of Schwyz in Central Switzerland. It is occupied by a ruined castle, the Burgruine Schwanau, a chapel and a restaurant. Administratively the island lies within the municipality of Lauerz, but it is owned by the canton of Schwyz. The Skywalk is one of Europe’s longest pedestrian suspension bridges, 58 meters above the Lauitobel Gorge. Hikers and walkers are drawn to Europe’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. There are various circular trails starting from the other side of the gorge, including “der Pfad”, which leads across the Halsbann up to the summit and back down to Herrenboden.
