This small stave church is located close to West Telemark Museum, location Eidsborg. The Eidsborg Stave Church is believed to be built between 1250 and 1270 and is one of the best-preserved examples of 28 protected stave churches in Norway this is quite a contrast to the Middle Ages when there were more than 1000 stave churches in the country. Vråvatn is a lake in Kviteseid municipality in Telemark. It is part of the Arendal watercourse and has its main inflow into the Folsetelva from Skredvatn, while the outlet is via Roholdtåi, or "Straumen", to Nisser. In 1914, two locks were built in Straumen, Storstraum – Småstraumkanalen. This made it possible to travel the entire 50 km long stretch from Tveitsund south in Nisser to Vråliosen north in Vråvatn by boat.

Seljord Lake is a lake in the municipality Seljord in Vestfold og Telemark, Norway. The main influx river is Vallaråi, and the lake drains through Bøelva. The lake covers an area of 16.7 km2. According to local folklore Selma, a sea serpent lives in the lake.
