Museum August Kestner is ocated in Hannover, Germany. It is the oldest museum in Hannover, opened in 1889. Museum August Kestner is centered on the collections of August Kestner and his nephew Hermann Kestner. The museum features collection of antiquities from the Egyptian, Graeco-Roman, some of it dates back to 6000 years. It also displays medieval craftwork and modern design peices.

Lower Saxony State Museum is a museum located in Hannover, it is the largest museum in the state.
