Malapascua Island, located in the northern part of Cebu, is just one of the many islands you can explore in the Philippines. Lake Danao is considered as Ormoc City’s main natural attraction. This violin-shaped lake on the mountains of Ormoc was previously named Lake Imelda but was changed to Lake Danao Natural Park afterwards. It is covering an area of 148 hectares and is about 700 meters above sea level. The lake that also includes the Amandawin mountain range is 18 kilometers northeast of Ormoc City, half an hour drive along the Milagro – Lake Danao and San Pablo – Tongonan roads.

The Kan-irag Nature Park is a watershed and nature park in the uplands of Cebu City, Philippines that opened in the mid-2000s. It was once a bald mountain, but due to reforestation with native trees, the area became a functioning watershed. It is home to about 27 native bird species, such as the emerald dove, Asian glossy starling, the collared kingfisher, the black-naped oriole, and the olive-backed sunbird. The park's size is 71 hectares

The Marcelo Fernan Bridge is a marvel of engineering that stretches across the busy Mactan Channel separating large Cebu Island from its smaller neighbor of Mactan Island. It is a cable-stayed bridge with a total length of 3,900 feet. Gaze up at the pairs of imposing columns that sprout from the bottom of this impressive architectural feat. The bridge is one of the widest and longest bridge spans in the Philippines.

Magellan Marker was constructed to mark the spot where Ferdinand Magellan died. He was a great explorer who spread Christianity in Cebu and was killed in the Mactan Island in an effort to spread the faith. Spanish Governor-General Francisco Alcala approved the plan to construct the monument to commemorate the life of the Portuguese “discoverer” of the Philippines- Ferdinand Magellan. According to historians the original monument was a monument-cum-lighthouse.

The Mactan–Mandaue Bridge, officially the Sergio Osmeña Bridge, is a truss bridge that connects Mandaue City with Lapu-Lapu City in Metro Cebu, Philippines. It is one of two bridges that spans across the Mactan Channel, the other being the Marcelo Fernan Bridge, and connects the islands of Cebu and Mactan.
