The Ancient Jain Temple in Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad is believed to have been built around the 13th century. The architecture of the temple has a strong resemblance to that of the structures built by the then reigning Vijayanagar Dynasty and is made wholly of granite.

Nilambur Teak Museum is located in the Malappuram district of Kerala State in Southern India. The museum was established in 1995 on the campus of Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) and it houses the historical, aesthetic, and scientific treasures related to teak.

Conolly’s Plot (also Canoli Plot/ Canoly’s Plot) is the oldest teak plantation in the world. The plantation, which was developed in the 1840s is home to more than 100 large teak trees, among which the biggest one has a girth of 4.2 meters and a height of 46.5 meters.
