Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre is a unique Centre that combines science with religion. The main attraction of the Centre is a life-like panorama of the epic battle of Kurukshetra that showcases Mahabharata war with scientific explanations justifying every episode in the war. The magnificent two-storied building of the Centre has cylindrical walls. The Centre has an interesting exhibition called 'India: A Heritage in Science, Technology and Culture.

Believed to be the permanent abode of Lord Vishnu, Sannihit Sarovar is situated at a distance of 3 kms. from Kurukshetra on Pehowa Road. It is supposed that entire range of Tirthas assembles here on the day of Amavasya and as per the legends, if a man performs Shradhs at the time of solar eclipse and takes bath in this tank, he acquires the fruit of 1000 Ashwamedh sacrifices.

This museum was set up by Kurukshetra University inside the university campus, in its golden jubilee year, to showcase the matchless cultural, architectural and archaeological heritage of Haryana. It truly makes a visitor feel in a typical Haryanvi village through its dioramas and other exhibits that one would literally like to live there for a couple of days.

The ancient Sthaneshwar Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated in Thanesar, a holy town in the Kurukshetra district of Haryana. It was here that the Pandavas along with Krishna prayed to Lord Shiva and received his blessings for victory in the battle of Mahabharata. The ninth Guru, Shri Tegh Bahadur stayed at a spot near the Sthaneshwar Tirtha that is marked by a gurdwara just besides this temple.

Established in 1982, Pipli Zoo houses various species of animals over an area of 25 acres of land. The zoo also has a black buck breeding centre and is a famous picnic spot for the animal lovers.

The Bhor Saidan Crocodile Breeding Centre is located 22 km from Kurukshetra and 13 km from Thanesar at Bhor Saidan village, also spelled as Bhour Saidan or Bhoor Saiydan, on the Kurukshetra-Pehowa road near Bhureeshwar Temple, one of the pilgrimage sites in Kurukshetra in the Indian state of Haryana.
