Baramura Eco Park is located at the Baramura hill range. Everything in this park is natural and nothing has been added artificially. The park is maintained by Teliamura Forest Development Agency, all they have done is added paths to wander into the park, hence done no damage to the Forest itself.

It is believed to be one of the holiest Hindu shrines in this part of the country. Popularly known as Matabari, the shrine is set upon a small hillock since the shape of a hillock resembles the hump of a tortoise .
