Whites Bridge was built in 1927, and has been a part of the county ever since. The John C. Blanchard House was built in 1864 by one of the first settlers of the area, and it also served as a home to many generations of the same family line. This particular Greek Revival living space stands out from others that were built around this time due to its beautiful symmetry and architectural details, such as its gable with bells and location near Red Cedar River. While the house has been restored over the years, much of its original features still remain intact.
