Lakenenland is a uniquely crafted scrap metal sculpture park open to the public for all to enjoy. Created by Tom Lakenen, it's a whimsical outdoor playground that has been entertaining Michiganders since 2001. The whole grounds are dotted with over 50 sculptures created entirely from discarded and salvaged materials like steel, sheet iron, and plumbing fixtures. Visitors can come explore single pieces of art or take a walk through the forests, beaches and meadows.

Laughing Whitefish Falls State Park is an idyllic and peaceful getaway spot with lush, pristine forests and enchanting waterfalls. Situated in the Ottawa National Forest, the park is named after the great cascading waterfall located near Lake Superior - The Laughing Whitefish River.
