Grand Island East Channel Lighthouse is a historic beacon that provides a vital service to boaters navigating the Great Lakes region. The original lighthouse was built in 1868 and funded through a special act of Congress. Over time, it has required repairs and periodic upgrades throughout its lifetime. Today, this iconic lighthouse stands at 40 feet tall on a rocky perch offering views of both Lake Superior's North Shore and Grand Island itself.

The Curtains – Ice Climbing Wall provides a unique and challenging experience for visitors of all skill levels. The mural-like structure was created out of a concrete wall featuring several routes for ice climbers. The attraction spans about 25 feet across and 100 feet high with sections between 5–50 feet tall. The ship was first reported in 1945 when construction workers found it in a sand deposit near the mouth of Mosquito River. It is believed that this sailing vessel went down sometime during the late 1800s and could be as old as 1863.
