About Badrinath Temple

Badrinath temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu which is situated in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand, India. The temple and town form one of the four Char Dham and Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. The temple is also one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Badrinath—holy shrines for Vaishnavites. This is a major tourist destination and pilgrimage site in Uttarakhand.

ഉത്തരേന്ത്യയിലെ അതിപ്രശസ്തമായ വിഷ്ണു  ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ്   ബദ്രിനാഥ് ക്ഷേത്രം. ഹിമാലയൻ യാത്രകളിൽ ഒരിക്കലും മിസ് ചെയ്യാൻ പാടില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആകർഷണം കൂടിയാണിത്. അളകനന്ദ നദിയുടെ തീരത്തു സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രം വർഷത്തിൽ 6 മാസം(ഏപ്രിൽ -നവംബർ ) മാത്രമേ തുറന്നു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുള്ളു. ബാക്കിയുള്ള മാസങ്ങളായിൽ ഇവിടം മഞ്ഞു  മൂടി കിടക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ആർക്കും തന്നെ പ്രവേശിക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്നതല്ല
