The Jefferson Davis State Historic Site is a beautiful monument honoring the life of our nation's only president, Jefferson Davis. The site includes a raised stone monument and flagpole that stands on the east side of land once held by Mr.Davis. It includes a museum displaying artifacts from his life as well as an auditorium containing photos from significant events in American history. Visitors can also take a self-guided tour of Davis' home.

Fulwood Park features two miles of wooded trails that are perfect for hiking and birdwatching. Natural vegetation and habitats can be found on each trail. For the water enthusiasts there is a fifty-acre lake with easy access for kayaking, fishing, and swimming. A pavilion located on the lake makes it easy to have a picnic or barbecue as well. Other amenities include camping grounds with playgrounds, bathrooms, and showers; restrooms throughout the trails; an amphitheater for hosting events.

The Tifton-Tift County Public Library provides a wealth of educational and recreational opportunities to its patrons. Their collection spans diverse media such as books, periodicals, audio/visual materials, and computers so that everyone from toddlers to adults can find something that interests them. The library also offers programs such as storytimes for young readers and research instruction sessions on topics like health and genealogy.

This Museum is a great day out for train enthusiasts and those interested in history. Opened in 2016, the museum celebrates the railroad heritage of Tifton and beyond by preserving model locomotives, memorabilia and artifacts from surrounding counties. Visitors can view exhibits such as old photographs, timetables from forgotten lines, as well as a large variety of antique models and interactive displays. The Tifton Commercial Historic District consists of buildings that were constructed between 1828 and 1970, representing a variety of architectural styles which provide insight into the history of the region. It includes many examples of early 20th century commercial architecture as well as several unique buildings such as the Carnegie Library and US Post Office.
