Savannah National Wildlife Refuge is a beautiful piece of nature. It encompasses nearly 30,000 acres of protected habitat and coastal marsh, sloughs and waterways, providing a safe haven for more than 280 species of birds, 45 species of amphibians and reptiles, 31 types of mammals, fish, and various other kinds of wildlife.
