The Riley House Museum is a special exhibit celebrating the county’s rich history and culture. The house, built in 1891 for John Riley, houses artifacts from the area’s past that tell the stories of its inhabitants. Visitors can learn about the first Seminole War and the beautiful architecture of early 1900’s French-Victorian style homes. Explore exhibits detailing cotton farming, fishing and forestry as well as local historic buildings such as churches and grist mills.
