About Pegasus Statue
The majestic Pegasus Statue stands tall at an impressive 24 feet high and was gifted to the county by sculptor Gerard Puccio in 2007. This incredible statue is constructed from 26 sheets of steel and honors fallen veterans. The artist hinted at a deeper meaning when creating the horse, stating it has a head pointing towards the sky to symbolize dreams and aspirations. He also placed one of its hind legs on grass, representing land conquered through hard work.
