The hike takes about eight hours round trip and is considered to be Moderately difficult. The trailhead starts at the junction of Highway 550 and County Road 124. From there, it is a steady climb up to the summit, with an elevation gain of over 4,000 feet. Along the way, hikers will be treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

There is no entrance fee to explore Fuller Peak, San Juan County, Colorado. However, there may be some camping fees if you plan on staying in the area overnight.
