Rosemount Museum is a historic house museum in Pueblo, Colorado. The museum is located on a site that was once part of the short-lived town of Rosemount, which was founded in 1886 and abandoned in 1888. The house was built in 1887 by William and Rebecca Rose, who were among the first settlers of the town. The house remained vacant for many years after the town was abandoned, and it was eventually donated to the Pueblo Historical Society in 1953. The society restored the house and opened it to the public as a museum in 1954. Today, the museum is operated by the City of Pueblo and houses a collection of artifacts from the early history of Pueblo County. Visitors to the museum can learn about the short-lived town of Rosemount, as well as the early history of Pueblo County and the state of Colorado.

The  best time to visit is during the summer months, when the weather is warm and dry. During this time of year, the museum grounds are alive with wildflowers and the historic buildings are open for tours.

 Visitors can expect to spend at least two hours exploring the museum, although three hours would be preferable.

The museum is just a short drive from Denver, making it the perfect place to visit for a day or weekend trip. To reach the museum, take I-25 south to exit 102 (Central Ave/US-50). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp and follow US-50 west for 3.1 miles. The museum will be on your right-hand side. From Pueblo, take I-25 north to exit 102 (Central Ave/US-50). Turn right at the bottom of the ramp and follow US-50 west for 3.1 miles. The museum will be on your right-hand side. 

 The entrance fee for the Rosemount Museum is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $3 for students. Children under the age of 5 are free. 

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Sunday hours are 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The Rosemount Museum is closed on Mondays.
