The Rainbow Arch Bridge was built between 1922-1923 and is the only arch of its kind in the state of Colorado. Over the years, Rainbow Arch Bridge has overcome major floods without any major damage. The bridge was built using reinforced concrete and features two arches that are each 200 feet long. 

Modeled after the work of Iowa engineer John March, the Rainbow Arch Bridge is considered to be the gateway to Fort Morgan. In 1984, Rainbow Arch Bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and it became a Colorado Civil Engineer Landmark in 1992.

To reach Rainbow Arch Bridge in Morgan County, Colorado, follow these easy steps. First, take Highway 34 west from Fort Morgan. After about 12 miles, you'll see a sign for Rainbow Arch Bridge. Turn left onto the gravel road and continue for about a mile until you reach the bridge.

There is no entrance fee to explore this architectural beauty.
