The Poudre Canyon is a narrow verdant canyon, approximately 40 mi long, on the upper Cache la Poudre River in Larimer County, Colorado in the United States. The canyon is a glacier-formed valley through the foothills of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains northwest of Fort Collins. The canyon was inhabited by Utes in the 19th century and was the site of trapping expeditions by early settlers.

Sheep Lakes is a large meadow with two small lakes in Horseshoe Park, a flat U-shaped valley located just west of the Fall River Entrance.

Old Fall River Road is the name of a narrow one-lane dirt road with perilous heights located in Larimer County, in the U.S. state of Colorado. Nokhu Crags is an interesting outcropping of craggy spires located on the northern end of the Never Summer Mountain Range in northern Colorado.The rocks of the peak were formed as a sedimentary deposit millions of years ago in an ancient ocean basin. Today the mountain is a barren, almost treeless form, virtually devoid of vegetation. During the day, pika and mountain goats may be seen and heard on the steep slopes.

Bear Lake Road is a 10.5 mile drive from the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center starts at 7,840 ft and climbs up to Bear Lake at 9,475 ft.Along the way, you’ll pass trailheads for hiking trails, picnic areas, campgrounds, the Moraine Park Museum and Sprague Lake. There is a large picnic area and The road ends in the Bear Lake parking lot.

Mount Richthofen is the highest summit of the Never Summer Mountains range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. Today, the mountain is typically climbed from Lake Agnes to the north, easily reachable from Cameron Pass. The mountain is a steep Class 3 climb that often requires travel on steep scree slopes that are not very stable. The mountain was named in honor of pioneering German geologist Baron Ferdinand von Richthofen, apparently by Clarence King's 1870 survey team.

State Forest State Park is a Colorado State Park located in Jackson and Larimer counties east of Walden, Colorado. It is around 71,000 acres of forest, jagged peaks and alpine lakes.Facilities include a visitors' center, 187 campsites, over 60 dispersed camping sites, 15 cabins and yurts, picnic sites, boat ramps and 94 miles of hiking trails.

Lake Irene is a small picturesque subalpine lake with an easy 1.0 mile loop trail with little elevation change around its banks. It is one of the beautiful picnic location and also there are trekking ways and fishing is possible here.

Braddock Peak is one of the three mountains that frame the classic view on the south side of Cameron Pass. It is a popular peak for skiing and splitboarding. The summit of Braddock Peak provides stunning views of the south side of the Diamond Peaks. The mountain is highly accessible in the winter via the Lake Agnes Trail. The Nokhu Hut and Agnes Hut, managed by Never Summer Nordic, sit near the base of Braddock and provide shelter for overnight adventures in this area.

Rawah Wilderness is located on the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Roosevelt National Forest in Colorado. It encompasses 76,394 acres and includes 25 named lakes ranging in size from five to 39 acres. There are 85 miles of trails in the area and elevation ranges from 8,400 feet to 13,000 feet.
