Ellingwood Point is 0.5 miles northwest of Blanca and crowns the amazing northeast face above the Huerfano Valley.

Access from the west is through the Zapata Ranch subdivision, and access from the east is from the Zapata Trail or Lily Lake Trail in Upper Huerfano Valley.
