Parry Peak - 4 Things to Know Before Visiting

Mount Bancroft is a 12044 feet peak in Grand and Clear Creek counties. It is located west of the town of Empire. Below the summit is Lake Caroline, named for his granddaughter, Caroline Bancroft. A good trekking destinatination and also there are so many things to see and do.

Chinns Lake is a fun and easy trail with great camping on the water, hiking and fishing all within an hour or so drive of Denver, Colorado. This is a popular trail for fishing, hiking, and mountain biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are June through September. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
