The museum educates Guard members and the public about the heritage of Wyomings Army and Air National Guard both in peace and in times of war.The purpose of the museum is to showcase the history of the Wyoming National Guard. It houses the Wyoming Army and Air National Guards historical archives, photographs, film, and artifacts. The museum is a joint project between the Wyoming Military Department and the Wyoming Militia Historical Society.
