About Skyline Park

This one-acre linear park and plaza was a central feature of the Skyline Urban Renewal District, a revitalization plan conceived in the 1950s for Lower Downtown Denver. The park incorporates the Daniels and Fisher Tower in a narrow urban canyon created by stepped, raised planting areas of ruddy concrete. Sunken walkways and courtyards lead to fountains, some with paths through them. Berms of evergreen and deciduous plantings suggesting mountain settings screen the park from the street.
