Table Top Wilderness - 4 Things to Know Before Visiting

West Pinal is a 160 acre community park located near the community of Stanfield, Arizona. Offering 3 miles of natural surface walking/hiking trails, views of the Table Top Wilderness area, and a beautiful dark sky environment.

The Domes were built to facilitate the manufacturing of computers back in the late 1970s and early 1980s, but they were never completed -- evident from a couple of foundations that were started and left unfinished. One of the buildings is shaped like a flying saucer and the other three are as if spheres were joined together, looking like huge concrete caterpillars.

The building was built in 1929 by Gus Kratzka as the family residence. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. The building has a rusticated concrete exterior and includes several features that made the summer heat more bearable for the retired banker and his wife. The mission of this building is to develop an art museum and creative arts center and provide citizens of the Casa Grande and Central Arizona with the opportunity to enjoy a diverse selection of quality art.

The Museum of Casa Grande preserves and exhibits the heritage of the region. Their collections represent historic and contemporary lifestyles, work, agriculture and so more. The Sacaton Mountains are a range of granitic inselbergs in Pinal County, Arizona, located south of Phoenix near Casa Grande, Arizona. The highest peak is Sacaton Peak at an elevation of 2755 ft.
