Homol'ovi II is a 14th-century pueblo with over 700 rooms that is located along the Little Colorado River five miles north of the modern town of Winslow in northeastern ArizonaThe sites date from three main periods: AD 620-850, AD 1050-1225, and AD 1260-1400. During each of these periods there was a concentrated population of people living near the Little Colorado River.

Meteor Crater is a meteorite impact crater in the northern Arizona desert. Scientists refer to the crater as Barringer Crater in honor of Daniel Barringer, who was first to suggest that it was produced by meteorite impact. The crater was created about 50,000 years ago during the Pleistocene epoch, when the local climate on the Colorado Plateau was much cooler and damper.

Tall Timbers County Park, located in Heber-Overgaard, AZ, is a Park that offers outdoor recreation and nature preservation. A public space open to the general public, the Park offers open spaces under the maintenance of the Heber-Overgaard Parks Department.

Walnut Canyon National Monument preserves some of the Southwest’s earliest history, these incredible ruins are shockingly intact and preserved by the park service for anyone to enjoy. There are 25 cliff dwelling rooms constructed by the Sinagua, a pre-Columbian cultural group that lived in Walnut Canyon from about 1100 to 1250 CE.

A beautiful lake located in Navajo. It was built along the Mogollon Rim in 1964 by the Arizona Game and Fish Department to provide water recreation opportunities for the public. The Snowflake Arizona Temple is the 108th dedicated temple in operation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Unlike many other recently constructed temples, the temple does not share property with a stake center or Church meetinghouse but is adjacent to a golf course. This Temple serves 35,000 members, many of them descendants of the first pioneers to the area.

Horton Creek is located in the Mogollon Rim area of the state of Arizona. The closest town Payson is 20 miles away. The facilities are maintained by Tonto National Forest division of the USDA Forest Service. It is one of the iconic location where you can spend some nice time.

Agate House is a partially reconstructed Puebloan building in Petrified Forest National Park, built almost entirely of petrified wood. The eight-room pueblo has been dated to approximately the year 900 and occupied through 1200, of the Pueblo II and Pueblo III periods. The agatized wood was laid in a clay mortar, in lieu of the more usual sandstone-and-mortar masonry of the area.

The Hangman Trailhead & FR 86 provides access to this trail. This trail follows areas affected by the 2002 Rodeo-Chediski Fire.A very nice trail, at the beginning quite flowig, later steeper. In the first section there are two medium-sized ramps. Tehre are also so many things to see and do which is quiet interesting and also there are so many things to see also.

Long Logs Trail in Petrified Forest National Park has a few cool things to see. The first is a bunch of long petrified logs. It is one of the greatest concentrations of in-tact petrified logs in the Park. Trees over 100' long were stripped of their branches by ancient rivers and eventually came together within this vicinity.

Christopher Creek is a census-designated place in northern Gila County in the U.S. state of Arizona. Situated at the base of the Mogollon Rim, the community lies at an elevation of 5,961 feet, and is located approximately 23.5 miles northeast of Payson, just off SR 260. The population as of the 2010 U.S. Census was 156.

The Rim is an escarpment defining the southwestern edge of the Colorado Plateau. Puerco Ruin and Petroglyphs are the ruins of a large Indian pueblo, which reached its peak around 1300 CE, containing over 100 rooms. It is the largest known archeological site within the Petrified Forest National Park.The site contains over 800 petroglyphs, incised on more than 100 boulders.

Jasper Forest was originally called First Forest as it was the first large accumulation of petrified wood reached from Adamana. The petrified log segments continue to erode from the 216-million-year-old Jasper Forest bed, which caps the exposures in the area, including Blue Mesa, Agate Bridge, and Crystal Forest. The forest was originally accessible by vehicle and the old road constructed by the CCC in the early 1930s still exists.
