About Mookerplas
The Mookerplas is a recreation area in the Dutch Limburg municipality of Mook en Middelaar. The area is 100 hectares and is located east of the river Maas. There is a large sandy beach with a large sunbathing lawn and there is also a smaller surfing beach and a meadow where small boats can moor.

One of the hills in the area is the Sint-Jansberg, which is also called Kloosterberg.The area is characterized by wooded slopes and many streams . There are also some wetlands at the foot of the Jansberg. The two highest slopes are the Kiekberg and the Sint-Maartensberg . Some flat areas are used for agriculture.
