The Cuypershuis is a museum in the Limburg city of Roermond , located in the former residence and studio of architect Pierre Cuypers . From 1932 to 2009 the Stedelijk Museum Roermond was located here. The Cuypershuis was created in 2011 after the Stedelijk Museum Roermond was divided into three parts: the Cuypershuis, the Historiehuis and the collection of modern art of the municipality of Roermond.

The Munsterkerk is a 13th-century church dedicated to Our Lady in the Dutch town of Roermond. Its remarkable front towers are 55 meter in height. The Munsterkerk is one of the most important example of Late Romanesque architecture in the Netherlands. The church is a Rijksmonument, and is part of the Top 100 Dutch heritage sites.

The Maasplassen are artificial lakes on the Maas in Limburg's Maasland. The Maasplassen are gravel holes , they were created by the extraction of gravel that occurs due to deposition by the Meuse. Gravel mining on the Maas started in the 19th century. The gravel holes were left behind in the valley of the Meuse like large scars. A new purpose was found in water recreation. There were beaches, water sports areas, nature reserves, marinas and campsites.

Boschmolenplas is a former gravel hole. The lake has become a household name in the diving-loving Netherlands and is even known far beyond the Belgian and German borders. Due to the excellent water quality, the Boschmolenplas is the scene of a very rich underwater flora and fauna.

Keramiekcentrum Tiendschuur is a ceramics museum with a ceramics studio. The center is located in the tithe barn of Castle Holtmühle in Tegelen , a sub-municipality of the Limburg city of Venlo. The center stems from the long tradition of ceramic production, linked to the availability of good pottery clay in Tegelen. This production started around 100 to 300 AD. ch. when the Romans baked roof tiles with Tegelen clay.

The Steyl Mission Museum is a museum with an ethnographic and natural history collection in the monastery village of Steyl in the Dutch municipality of Venlo. The ethnography collection , assembled by the Steyl missionaries from the end of the 19th century , is very eclectic. Artifacts, utensils and clothing from China , Japan , Indonesia , the Philippines , Papua New Guinea , Ghana , Togo , Republic of the Congo and Paraguay are on display.
