Birgitzköpfl - 4 Things to Know Before Visiting

A majestic summit in tyrol situated nearby to Klettergarten Birgitzköpfl, and close to Klettergarten Birgitzköpfl. A good trekking destination and it offers beautiful views too.

The Natterer See is located 2.5 km west of Natters, 830 metres above sea level. It is one of the larger highland lakes in the vicinity of Innsbruck. Several hiking trails lead round the lake. Even though it's fen water, the lake has an excellent water quality. Reed regions at the shores and pipes supply the lake with fresh water. Various kinds of carp live in the lake.

The Serlesbahnen Mieders Skiing Area is above all ideal for beginners and families, as it is not too large - with 6 km of slopes - and thus very manageable. Those who love ski tours, however, will trawl the off-slope territory around Mt. Serles, one of the most popular recreation areas in the surroundings of Innsbruck.

The Europa Bridge is a 820-metre-long bridge carrying the A13 Brenner Autobahn 190m over the Wipp valley just south of Innsbruck. The bridge spans the Sill River, and forms part of the main route across the Alps from western Austria to South Tyrol in Italy. It is also part of the main route between southeastern Germany and northern Italy.

The Bergisel Ski Jump on famous Mt. Isel is an architectural highlight and a tourist attraction in the Alpine City. The ski jump stands proudly above the Olympic city of Innsbruck on the historic Bergisel. This hill has always been a place of great importance for Tyrol and especially for Innsbruck. The sports facility has twice been honoured with the task of hosting Olympic events: the Olympic flame burned on the Bergisel at the Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976.

The striking Martinswand forms the southwestern end of the Hechenberg in the Nordkette north-west of Innsbruck in the market town of Zirl. The mountain face is the approximately 600 m free demolition of the Kleiner Wandkopf. It is a nature reserve , but also a popular climbing area. The area is designated as a protected area and part of the Karwendel Alpine Park .
