The Ballybay Wetlands Centre is an impressive multi-purpose venue set in the heart of co Monaghan with sweeping views of the surrounding wetlands. White Lough, also known as White Lake, is a freshwater lake in the northeast of Ireland. It is located in County Monaghan in the catchment of the River Erne. White Lough measures about 2.5 km long west–east and 0.5 km wide.It is located about 5 km southwest of Ballybay.

Senator Billy Fox Memorial Park covers an area of approximately 6.3hectares and is located in Bawn, Co. Monaghan on the Cavan Monaghan border. The park is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities with walking paths and picnic benches dotted throughout. Enjoy the sound of the stream and its cascading water, view the central bandstand and memorial plaque to Senator Billy Fox who was the only member of the Oireachtas to be assassinated during the Troubles.

St. Peter's Church in Laragh, County Monaghan, Ireland, is a tin tabernacle constructed in 1890 from corrugated iron and timber.The Swiss-Gothic design of the church was inspired by travels on the continent in the 1800s by Laragh Tweed Mill operator James McKean and his wife. It is part of Ireland’s irreplaceable built heritage and was listed as a Building of National Importance by National Inventory of Architectural Heritage in 2014.
